The Jacksonville Dance Film Festival (JDFF) celebrates the intersection of movement, filmmaking, and storytelling, bringing artists and audiences together through the evolving art of dance on screen.
Presented by Jacksonville Dance Theatre, JDFF showcases innovative dance films from local, national, and international artists and provides a platform for work that pushes choreography beyond the stage and into the frame.
As one of the few festivals dedicated to dance film in the region, JDFF connects diverse audiences, cultures, and creative communities through the shared languages of movement and film. Through screenings, artist engagement, and creative exchange, the festival invites Northeast Florida audiences to experience new perspectives on what dance—and film—can be.

Where Movement, Film & Contemporary Art Meet
Jacksonville Dance Film Festival is proud to partner with MOCA Jacksonville, bringing dance on film into the heart of Downtown Jacksonville and one of the region’s leading spaces for contemporary art.
Rooted in a shared commitment to artistic innovation, creative exchange, and community engagement, this partnership creates a natural home for JDFF—where movement, filmmaking, and visual art come together. Through screenings, artist engagement, and shared experiences, JDFF and MOCA connect audiences with bold perspectives and new ways of experiencing dance beyond the stage.
Together, we are creating a space for artists and audiences to gather, discover, and experience movement through a new lens.
